Access to Resources
Books and Periodicals
There are over 20,000 books, more than 20 magazines and periodicals available to our users. Books are available for check-out; magazines and periodicals do not circulate.
Fortunately, the district subscribes to online periodical databases that can be accessed from home or school.
Online Resources
There are 10 computers available for student use in the media center. Please remember that students using the equipment for academic objectives have priority in their use.
All district online resources can be accessed from home or school.
Printing
Laser printer: Students may print for free any instructional materials/activities needed. Personal printing is not encouraged and students may be charged ten cents a page if printing privileges are abused.
Color printer: Currently arrangements are being done with patrons for color printing since the laser printer is now defunct. Please carefully consider the need for color printing and talk to Mrs. Antony about options.
Photocopier for Student Use
The Media Center has a coin-operated copy machine for student use. Copies are $.15 each, front only. The copier accepts coins of various denominations and provides change if funds are left after copying. The media center can sometimes provide change for a $1 or a $5, but students are encouraged to bring change since it's not always available.
